Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the greatest and most rich Reggae artists. He was a part of the classic film Shottas alongside another artist Wyclef Jean. Ky-Mani joined Shang Records and recorded his debut album in 1996, With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles including Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. All of these contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a brand new reggae singer. Ky-Mani teamed up with Praswell of Fugees to record Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley appeared in Midem (international music showcase) in the year it was held at Miami for the first time. Marley gave a concert at the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live in 36 different countries. Marley was at the center of auction warfare.
